Internet Browsing

Hi, I am currently on Vodafone PAYG and was looking at the browsing cost on their web site and it states that :-

"you can visit the Vodafone live! home page and My Account for free. Up to £1 for 15MB in a day. £2 for every additional MB"

How much browsing does 15MB give you?

For example is that 5mins browsing (say on facebook etc) or 4hrs browsing??

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Thanks

It depends on the website, as a website full of plain text (Wikipedia) will be a lot lighter than a website full of graphics and animation (Facebook).

15MB will be enough for some light browsing and the mobile version of Facebook is lighter than the full version, but don't spend hours on it.

Cheers

I've just been checking providers, see below :-

T-Mobile PAYG - £10 top up gets you 40MB of internet per month + unlimited txts.

02 PAYG - Top up £10-£14 and get unlimited texts or top up £15+ and get unlimited texts and web.

Orange PAYG - £10 top-up gets you 50MB of internet per month + 300 txts.

Vodaphone PAYG - £10 top up gets you 100 minutes + 300 txts. Browsing is 50p per day capped at 25MB.

That all have their pros & cons, so not sure which one is the best to go for.
