I quite fancy one of the new INQ Mini 3G phones from 3 to get Skype on the go but I can concerned that they are all locked to 3. I travel outside the UK and would need t put in other SIM cards but also, if I don't get on with 3 and their charging policy (20p per minute versus Vectone 5p per minute or Asda 8p per minute) then I don't want to have to chuck the phone.

I phoned 3 and they advised to buy a SIM free one for mega money but I won't be doing that. I will pay the £39.95 they want but then want to break it free of 3 and use it on foreign and perhaps, other UK networks.

Any ideas ? Here is the phone I am on about.

got one today anyone know? Thing is i already have a contract mobile with tmobile..and i have skype on my pc with unlimited calls..If i unlock the mini 3g will i be able to put the tmbile sim in it and login to skype?

I have emailed and asked 3, yes they will do it but for £15

There is a very good program to unlock almost all inq phones - Unlock phone modem data card with DC-unlocker software or dongle
