Suggest a new phone for the wife.... Please!!

Hi folks, the wife is currently using a samsung g600, and she wants an iPhone now after having a play with my 3gs..... She's not getting one

that's not me being tight though, I've just shelled out a load on her for christmas and I simply can't afford an iPhone...

So I was hoping if I put a list of what she's after you may be able to suggest a phone that fits the bill.

It has to be touchscreen, have 3g (or hsdpa), have wifi, some kind of app store or easy way to add applications, and it has to have a decent camera (not a world beater - just something good enough for quick snaps).

The main use will be facebook and Twitter if I'm honest - so it HAS to handle those.

And the kicker is... I want something under £200! Don't mind something slightly over because I'll look for an eBay bargain

although whatever I buy I want it to be new.

She already has an o2 simplicity sim - Which she will be using with it.

Any suggestions folks.... I've been leaning towards a nokia 5800 but as I've not used one I thought it prudent to ask for suggestions.

There or thereabouts. Plenty of unwanted upgrades and as-new second hand phones around.

It's the closest you'll get to the iPhone slick experience in this price range and the Android marketplace is expanding daily.

Ever heard of the pulse? Non htc but does have android os....

i have the pulse on t mobile as well as the nokia n97 the pulse is great little phone

wahoo - managed to pick up a magic on ebay for £100!

has a slight scratch on the rear cover but they are available on ebay for £8 - so im a happy camper.

what do i have to do to get it set up for the other half? do i have to create a google account to download apps etc? does it have to be synced with a pc?? does anyone use one with an o2 simplicity sim (which is what she will be doing) - do you just request the settings from o2?
