simplicity and wifi on o2.

just been in o2 shop talking to the o2 monkey,he has just told me that you cant connect to any wifi networks on a simplicity sim card unless i buy the wifi bolt on,is this true?,i was looking at the iphone and the sony ericsson w995 of which both are wifi compatible,i thought the wifi was just the same as any other wifi enabled devices and you just connect to the wifi network, and the wifi is a chip inside the phone.

Re: simplicity and wifi on o2.

ok got the situation sorted phoned o2 directly and spoke to a iphone specalist,he explained that the o2 shop boy was talking about the wifi bolt on to allow access to bt open zone wifi and the likes, where as you can browse any normal wifi network freely.
