Phone GPS with Traffic ?

Do any of the mapping software for phones with GPS incorporate real time traffic updates like the TMC system found on dedicated Sat Navs ?

Re: Phone GPS with Traffic ?

I believe Garmin has a Traffic setting in their phone software.

Re: Phone GPS with Traffic ?

If your on oramge than consider orange maps which is their own network software. Free to download and approx a couple of pounds a month or free on some tariffs.

I was very sceptical about it being any good. I previously used Garmin on my N95 or my other halves portable Tom Tom.

Surprisingly it is very accurate and good to use. It can also give you free traffic updates.

I am a fan and feel it is the best sat nav I have used with very clear images and smooth software. My phone is the Samsung i8910HD which has a big screen which helps.

I saw the Orange Maps in teh Orange shop and asked about traffic updates. The sales assistant told me it didn't have traffic updates
