has anyone successfully got a hotmail account working on their phone on orange??

I can recieve hotmail emails but not send any

Could some one post up the settings they have for their hotmail email please like the smtp settings, connections and servers

Sounds like you need to change the SMTP address to the Orange one

Try smtp.orange.net

now im using smtp.orange.net

both say hotmail:no response

i m not on Orange but these are the outgoing mail settings I am using for hotmail on Vodafone.

smtp.live.com

Port 587

have you tried it using wifi? perhaps orange is blocking the port

what port were you using with smtp.orange.co.uk? I think it should be port 25

No wifi with the phone i'm using unfortunately
yeah tried it with port 25
And tsl and ssl connection types
