Anyone know what Orange returns policy is if you have bought the phone & contract in shop?

Unless the phone is faulty or not fit for purpose, I think you're stuck with it.

Something like the distance selling act will cover you if you bought over the phone or web. Purchasing in store, your statutory rights are limited as you were able to inspect the phone before purchase. You may have 7 days to back out of the contract, but I'm not sure on that. Flick through the Sales of Goods act... Google it, I believe that there is a very good government site with a breakdown of it.

Sale of goods doesnt allow you to cancel the contract if you change your mind. You would need to check with the staff in Orange but im pretty sure they dont allow cancellations.
