Cant use internet properly on 3 contract

Cant use internet properly on 3 contract

Hey guys im currently on a 3 contract 20 quid a month and ive been on it for 4 months now

Used to have no problem connecting to my emails or the internet and uploading stuff and now i cant upload pics to my facebook or use the 3 mail service at all.

It just cant connect and says server error.

Not changed any settings or anything and im very angry as im paying 5 quid a month extra for something i cannot use.

Thinking of popping into 3 in town tomorrow and asking to cancel my contract because im just about fudged off with 3. Alot of my calls dont connect and i have perfect coverage and im just really annoyed now

Any advice please???? Many thanks

If you ask to cancel the contract they'll make you pay the remaining cost of the contract - so if you've got an 18 month contract that'll be £280.

Try a factory reset of the settings - yep you'll lose your ring tone/wall paper etc settings, but your data should be ok I think, and it may resolve the problem.

It sounds silly but have you tried turning the phone off and on again - just like computers sometimes software on phones crashes.

Otherwise go into the three store and see if they can fix it. If they can't do it in store they can give you a replacement phone while they send it away free of charge. I had to do this with them a few months ago when my Nokia stopped receiving texts. From start to finish it took 7 days.

If you do have to have it sent away see if you can get a refund for the period during which the internet didnt work - might not result in anything but its worth a go.

I feel though as if im paying for a service i cannot use. Im paying an extra fiver a month may not sound alot but it adds up over a few months.

I can use skype and normal internet but as for facebook and email its a no no. Wanted to upload pics to facebook which my phone can do and it cant connect to the internet to upload em so im not fully getting what i should be recieving in my opinion.

Still aint been into the shop guna leave it until monday when i have all my paperwork with me

Sure as things stand you aren't getting anything for your money - but its got to be worth trying to fix it before cancelling everything at a cost! (£5 x 14 (months remaining on contract) = £70, cancelling the contract =over £200)

Take it to 3 and see if they can fix whats wrong. If they can fix it then you are getting what you are paying for!

I shall pop in and ask but im really annoyed with them for a start even over the 4 months. They wudnt repair my phone i got with the contract even tho it broke after 2 months so had to buy a new one for 139:99

Now i cant get a signal at home and have to sit in 1 spot in the front room or by the kitchen window. And the internet dont work when i have a full signal so yeah im really happy with 3
