Best Extended Life Battery for the T Mobile MDA Compact III?

Best Extended Life Battery for the T Mobile MDA Compact III?
So I'm using this phone for use with a golf software GPS caddy system as some of you will have heard of, or may use yourselves. Anyway, I'd like my T Mobile MDA Compact III to run this software for at least 6 hours, without the battery running out, so are there any ideas for a prolonged life battery from one charge?
