Question O2 XDA 2 The new one!

Has anyone got one of these yet and could post their experiences with it. I need a new tri band phone and I was going to get an Ipaq. This could be perfect!

Cheers

Don't have one of those, but took delivery of a Sony Ericsson P900 smartphone the other day, and it's incredible. Can't wait to start programming it.

Cost me £195 with a 12 month contract for Orange.

Ive had an XDA II for a couple of weeks and I think its the bees knees, I got mine for £150 on a pretty hefty tariff from e2save.com who seem to be a really good company. There are plenty of reviews on the net for the XDA II, one of the best being on tekguru.co.uk there is also a support forum on there which is worth looking at. If you want to know anything just drop me a pm or an email.

Pringtef,
How did you manage to wangle a £200 contract on the P900? (saw one last saturday and agree that its totally awesome - blows every other phone out of the water). Every retailer I've checked with is quoting around £300 with a contract.

Blimey, it must be a hefty contract! When I asked in the local O2 shop, I think they quoted me around £450 with a data contract!

I had an XDA for a couple of weeks, and really loved it until the touch screen broke for no apparent reason.

I'd love to get an XDAII, but don't think I can really justify the expense at the moment.

Im not supprised its expensive with just a data tarif but im on a £45 a month tarif for 4 months after which I can change to what I want. Getting them from o2 direct is very expensive and I still get billed by o2 instead of someone like Singlepoint so I think I got a good deal.

pcookie,

Got the phone with Carphone Warehouse, Orange Talk Anytime 200 Tariff, £30 a month.

They were doing it for £250 on this contract, but I found a cheaper site and they price matched it.

It was http://www.directmobilephones.com, but from looking at their site, they've changed the prices, which carphonewarehouse have done also.

However, quick glance on the web and you've got the two below also to look at.
