Exclamation Corrupt 3G2 file fix - Blackberry video

I took a long video with my Blackberry 8900 yesterday, however instead of end the video manually, my phone ran out of battery. Now when I try to play the file on my phone, it simply turns my phone off/crashes it.

I have transferred the file to my PC and it crashes Media Player.

Is there any way I can fix the file?

Thanks

Re: Corrupt 3G2 file fix - Blackberry video

I found the following on another forum...

i know little to nothing about video files but ive been reading on some forums and i think i understand that the file has a header and footer, and you have to open the file in a hex editor program...

i tried this and didnt understand anything... i was wondering if i upload the corrupted video taken with my phone and another good video taken with my phone, you could just copy the header from the good one and paste it in the bad one?

does anyone know how to do this?

its been successfully done on some other forums.... =\

Could this be the answer to my prblem perhaps?

Sorry to bump...

It is a 3GP FILE, NOT 3G2.
