Wow, some of these have 1-2 months standby and 10-20 days talk time. I have sourced some for around £100-£125, but will they work and be supported in the UK?

Have a look at the link below and filter by GSM band, which should tell you which phones will work in the UK.

SIM/Network locks are the only other thing to consider. I don't know if they will be locked or not.
