Advice - company IT linked phone. Want to swap handset

My company provides me an e650 SPV phone on the orange network.

It links to our company IT system (Lotus Notes email and calender) via a piece of software called mCentre (or msuite).

I hate the handset and would like to get myself another smartphone handset and swap the SIM card over (I used to do this regularly before the company switched from a standard mobile to one with email etc).

Does anyone know whether it would be possible to put the SIM card in another handset and get the mSuite software etc on it so it would communciate with the corporate IT system?

The software etc seems to be on the micro SD card (I got a replacement handset from Orange when the old one failed, and the new e650 managed to set itself up from the micro SD card info).

What sort of money do you want to spend?

If it's a business phone for email, the HTC Touch Pro, HTC Touch Pro 2 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 are all worth a look and cover three different budgets.
