pda internet

Can any 1 tell me how to get internet on my tosh e350 through my mobile phone i dont have bluetooth on either my pda or mobile but i have i/r on both

You set up a dialup connection to dial your ISP - use the same number and password as your home PC.

Navigate to the 'settings' screen on the pda and just fill in the boxes

I know Orange have a little download that will do it all for you, if that helps

But how do i connect my mobile to my pda

Make a new connection and input the phone number etc,
or navigate to the connection screen (settings/connection) and select 'modify...' for an existing connection

Then you set the modem to 'Generic IrDA Modem' from the pull down list.

Set the phone to activate IR or recieve IR as appropriate.

Now when you start up IE, it should say something like -connecting to (ISP name)
dailing from (connection name)
using: Generic IrDA modem

similar problem, i need to connect to the internet without a mobile. wireless connection, what do i need.
