Yep, the great PC streaming jukebox is coming to mobile phones and was showcased yesterday to the press. Whether data plans will cover it, what it will cost and how it will run over 3G is all still to be discovered. Promising nevertheless. Might need nuclear powered mobile in the future to cope with the drain streaming music will bring...

Things like this are going to present an interesting challenge for network operators. At the moment, most exclude streaming from the data bundles they provide. But it's becoming common place to find the YouTube application on phones and services like Spotify and Simplify Media are becoming more popular and more common place.

This and tethering could force operators to rethink their policies on this sort of thing. Let's hope so anyway.....
