Touch screen recommendations

Guys,
Just cancelled with 3 so I'm in the market for a new mobile.
I'm after a touch screen phone and the only things I really want other than that are internet and a half decent camera. I'll use the camera to take photos of my twin boys but doubt I would ever print them so doesn't need to be fantastic. I only really want to pay up to £30 / month inclusive of unlimited internet. Also have no preference over provider (but won't go back with 3!!) so what do you recommend?
I'm going to take a trip into town this weekend to see what is on offer but a starting point would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Re: Touch screen recommendations

I find the iPhone fantastic, really pleased with it. Obviously it's only with o2, probably the best deal is online. For £35 a month you get it free with 600 minutes or for 30 pounds per month you have to pay £96 for the phone and only get 75 minutes..that was the last time I looked anyway! The trouble is they expect you to sign a 2 year contract.
The phone is great though, and does everything you want.

Re: Touch screen recommendations

Thanks, I had considered the iphone and I would like one, just can't justify the cost of it to be honest and definately don't want to sign up for 2 years. 18 months seems the norm now but don't want to stretch that further.
The T Mobile G1 seems to be ok, anyone know about tose? Is it the "google phone" that I heard about a few months ago?

Re: Touch screen recommendations

Don't know too much about the G1. This is the phone I almost got, it looks pretty good and I think vodaphone are offering some good deals on it at the moment;

Re: Touch screen recommendations

I want to cancel with 3 to get an iPhone - I've just brought an iPod touch and just cannot wait to get an iPhone now.

They are awesome and until you use one, I dont think you really realise what an amazing bit of kit it is. The APP store alone is just going to render all other mobiles obsolete for me.

Re: Touch screen recommendations

Thanks for the replies guys, I've pretty much settled on the HTC Magic now though. I think Android will pretty much be up there with the iPhone in the next few months and I really can't get on with iPods/Phones etc.
