Question Couple of MGO questions (to save an epic read)

These question are probably answered else were but you are a reasonable bunch so thanks in advance.

1. My MGS4 disc was destroyed so will a Japanese MGO disc do?

2. Do I need (or is it worth) getting the add ons the MENE etc and if so how much overall will it cost (ballpark £)

3. As a lower/mid range (Dad of 2) player will I get dogs abuse ie if your not playing 24/7 and have mastered all the maps/moves don't bother or is the community quite mature?

4. How is it for lag? (being UK based)

Thanks in advance

Just to answer as there have been a good few views of this post

many thanks to TMan10K on gamefaqs

1. Don't know.

2. They're necessary if you want to do Survival and Tournaments, but I very rarely see anyone using the content they add, so I would save your money. It's a tenner for both.

3. You won't get abuse for your level of skill, but a lot of the players on this game are touchy at best, so expect to see colourful language and tantrums. In regards to maturity, I'd say it's about half and half.

4. As long as you play on servers hosted by fellow UK gamers, you'll be alright. However, the network code of this game is below par, so you'll still get shot from around corners but you get used to it.

(as for the Japanese MGO disc it looks as if it only gives access to Japanese servers.)
