The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

Hi Guys,
Well after completing MGS4 twice i thought i'd go for the daddy emblem.
3 gaming days later (no sunlight just fast food and a controller) and i'd done it.
So in honour of the achievment. I've decided to make a thread where everyone who has also gone for the BIG BOSS EMBLEM can post thier stats up.

Please feel free to add your times to mine here. I'd preferablly like a picture too or we'd all be getting 1 hr 30 mins with 1 hand and our eyes closed.

so to kick things off here's my time. ChalkyWhyte - 4 Hrs 16 Mins 31 Secs

And my Picture to prove it.

Edit: I'll add a little table with the members name and time so people can see how high the bar's been raised.

1. Sao 3 Hrs 13 Seconds
2. Chalkywhyte 4 Hrs 16 Mins 31 Seconds

Good luck guys.

Chalky

Re: The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

If any of you guys are looking for tips then You tube is the place!

Tyndis set the first bar with a time of 2hr 30 odd minutes but has since been superseded by Underfox with an amazing time of 1hr 50 minutes!

Tyndis

Underfox

You'll note that Underfox makes excellent use of the Big boss face camo to scare enemies without setting off alerts, it might look easy but trust me your timing has to be spot on to not set an alert off when trying this!

I set my 3hr time by pretty much following Tyndis's techniques but lost a lot of time following the resistance member as he kept spotting me or the guards woke up early and held him up.

Re: The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

Going through with no kills or alerts is crazy enough for me, let alone doing it that quickly lol.

Re: The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

No kills isn't too hard once you've got the Solar gun. Anyway, personally not going to bother doing a Big Boss run until the trophy patch shows up.

One question, how did you get so many flashbacks? Presumably you would have had to have skipped all the cutscenes to get that time?

Re: The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

Yeah you have to skip all the cut scenes.

Thats why i made sure i'd got all the enjoyment of playing normally and watching as much as i could then i went for the big boss run.

I'm not sure why i got so many flash backs maybe they're carried over on your games saves from previous games.

Not sure about the trophies tho.

I've sold the game now it was gathering dust.

Saving the cash for the new call of duty and fallout 3. Should keep me busy for a while well till final fantasy at least.

Kojima was asked last month and he said "I can't comment on that" which most people are interpreting as yes.

Re: The "Big Boss Emblem" Club

I'm running for the BB emblem right now, but I've got a question. If I use the Altair costume does it then count as a "special item"??
