Apple Products in MGS4?! ouch 360!

We all know that MGS4 will end up as a 360 title in a year or 2. So putting Apple prodcuts all over the game that will be running on a Microsoft unit will p*ss a few people off !!... o yea, and as the game is set in the near future, that sugests that Micosoft wont be around?!?! Lots of angry face in the Gates camp i bet! lol

If it comes out on 360 they will most likely remove all traces of Apple and replace with Microsoft products. So instead of the iPod they will get the Zune! Yuck! It won't be too hard for the devs to replace the graphics..just as Twin Snakes removed all references of the Playstation and added a Nintendo twist to the game

if they do an ms version it'll prob crash a lot , be a rip off and be derivative boring junk like anything and everything ms make

yea, the other MGS's were "exclusive" but then they get released on other consoles. jst long after we (Playstation users) have finished and lost interest in it.lol

As has been said elsewhere... MGS3, MGS: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Acid 1+2 were all Playstation exclusives...

Whether MGS4 will be released on the 360 is already been discussed in another already established thread and as this one seems to be along the same lines I'm going to close it. This really should have been posted in that thread anyway rather then a new one started as it's all related.

So whats going to happen with all the apple stuff once its on the xbox? surely its far to much effort to change it all?!?!?! its not just text or graphics, the characters interact with the objects...

I didn't think it would be all that hard as the cutscene's are rendered from the game engine, however, I noticed Otacon using a MacBook Pro towards the end and thought if they were trying to make it as up to date as possible they'd have gone with a MacBook Air.

I just wish I had the saem number of Cinema display's that Sunny has... that's one cracking setup for a 6 year old...

On one of the podcasts in the game it was explaining why there were apple products in the game and that the developers asked apple if they could put them in. So doesn't look like it's some kind of product placement campaign by apple or anything.

thats true, the macbook air would of been good.

MacBook Air is too underpowered for Otacon's needs, he needs some seriously fast Core2Duo action, though its unfortunate that we now know Apple hardware will look the same in 2014 *snicker*

i dont see how mgs4 going to the xbox is a foregone conclusion. ive got a 360 and a ps3 and the graphics on ps3 surpasses anything ive seen on 360 in 3 years, would the 360 be able to run it without blowing up in a red ring of death?? And having sold well over a million copies already on ps3, they dont really need to, do they??
