Zavvi on Tottenham Court Road are doing a midnight launch on Wednesday and the first 25 will get their copy pre-signed by Kojima! Also giving away gift bags and a raffle for a "unbuyable" prize, I've decided to cancel my Amazon pre-order and go down.

Are there any other places round the country doing midnight launches and will you be going?

I think Kojima is going to be at either HMV or Virgin, I forget which, on Oxford Street. If you get a special ticket or something you get to meet him and have him sign your copy, but its limited to X number of people.

Personally I will never queue up at midnight for any game. To those who do, stay safe.

Ah no that was last week signing slip-cases (nearly went too, was on the way Bond street when I read it in Metro but couldn't be bothered). I think Kojima will be in New York for the actual launch.

yeh your right he is in new york for the launch and he come last week to do at a signing at HMV

A pretty penny I bet! Turns out I had to work last night anyway so there was no point getting it at midnight, called into HMV on the way home this morning and picked it up (got myself one of those posh slipcovers too!). What a freaking game.

I dont get queuing for a midnight launch when you can get the game delivered the day before and already be playing it

Its the hype and the feeling, I went to the launch signing of MGS3 and have it signed my Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa, it was awesome and the energy was incredible especially when they both came out (I shook both of their hands!), there was a life size model of Big Boss too

Funny thing is, he even looks similar to David Hayter...
