71NotOut's Setups

Hiya,

I thought I would put a wee post up with a couple of pics of my setups around the house.

They are nowhere near as impressive as some of the stuff I have seen in here, but it is what funds and family commitments allow for me at the moment!

Anyway, here is the Livingroom setup (crap camera phone pic):

Samsung LE37A457 with Samsung HT-X200 2.1 surround system (still looking for decent speaker stands), Samsung DVD-HR720 DVD and hard drive recorder, Sky and Wii. I have also added some LEDs to the rear courtesy of Ikea

Family room setup:

Samsung LE26A457, homebuild PC running thru Samsung 19" monitor, XBox360 thru HDMI to tv and Sky+ PVR3

And the laptop room upstairs :

Top left - Mrs' Acer Aspire One (8GB Linux), top right - work machine Dell Inspiron 9300 17" widescreen, bottom left - my new Samsung NC10, bottom right - my old Acer Aspire 5633WLMI

I also have a Sony PSP which rarely gets used and Sony NWZ-A828 bluetooth walkman, and 2 older Samsung DVD/VHS players combined languishing in the attic.

I think I am a bit of a Samsung nut as my washing machine and video camera are also Samsung models!

That's the kit for now!

Cheers,
Steven

Nice!

Looks like you've got enough laptops to rival PC World!

None at the moment...i've exhausted my gadget budget (and then some) this year with 2 netbooks, surround sound, MP3 player, 26" LCD

Anyway, I don't get much time to watch discs, I tend to spend most of my time downloading torrents of tv series and watching them on the netbook/laptop.

Cheers guys.

Re: 71NotOut's Setups

How much are your laptops and you getting many more in stock? lol

Good choice of manufacturer, Samsung in my opinion are top quality, got myself a series 4 32" Lcd built in f/view, pretty sweet picture... and for my dedicated room I got a Series 6 46" lcd Samsung with 100hz technology, i love it, also got a Samsung HT-TZ215 800w surround sound system which is louder and clearer than my previous Sony system which was 850W!!

Its a pity Samsung didnt make gaming consoles... theyd probably be the best consoles in the world hehe.

Nice work tho... keep it going... I am
