My Lounge Setup - Updated

Thought I'd post a new pic as I've just got a new TV and Blu ray player.

Seen loads and loads of really nice set ups on here so I thought I'd share mine with you.

Not as impressive as many I've seen but I really like it. Hope you do too.

Re: My Lounge Setup

I've gotta say that does look nice . Very clean and simple, and not OTT like so many I see.

Although I'd personally remove the legs, so the TV unit itself sits on the carpet. But then that's just personal preference. Overall top work fella

Cheers.

Not sure about taking the legs off. The unit is very low. It probably doesn't look it from the picture as I took it stading up to avoid showing you all the clutter that was on my coffee table.

Re: My Lounge Setup

I'd get curtains for behind or even a set of blinds as the light coming in would do my head in when watching films but apart from that like what you have done. No clutter and wires on show

Got a roman blind in the window you can't see it in the pic. Need one too as the sun sets out there.

Wire hiding was one of the reasons we chose that unit. There's ****ing loads of them back there.

No mate it's the centre speaker from the surround sound system. Good job it's small as not sure where it'd live otherwise.

No not from Ikea.

Wish it was, would have saved me a fortune.

Re: My Lounge Setup

Really well set out and neat and tidy. Until you do one yourself you dont realise the thought and planning and decisions needed to make it look right.

Spot on

I know what you mean there mate.

I've been looking for a unit like the one I've now got for about 18 months now. I had a really chaep and nasty argos one before that in beech. Everything else in the lounge is oak so looked horrible. There was no back to it either so there was just a mass of wires everywhere.
