Another update... less sound system more work now...

--------------------------------------------------------- Older ---------------------------------------------------------
Update, since becoming a student I've started running out of money so I've had to hold back - its been so hard!

Picked up a new surround sound system, specs:

Denon AVR-3806
Fronts - KEF IQ5 - QED Silver Ann XT Bi-wire
Centre - KEF IQ2C QED Silver Ann XT
Surround - Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 - QED Micro
Sub - KEF 10"

other bits:
ps3
humax hd
xbox360
toshiba hd dvd
Shuttle PC - this looks ugly as sin at the moment but I'm currently building the shell for it.

Still need to do something with the wires but I just cant be bothered!

Next on my list is a 1080p projector then I'm done, (he says!)

C&C welcome.

Josh

Re: mushk1n's budget room

Hi,

thanks for comments,

Bose Lifestyle sound incredible, the lifestyle 48 is the latest but only has a HDD over the older 38 35 etc...

at £3500 they are quite pricey but worth considering, go to the Bose outlet and have a listen to their demos!

Re: mushk1n's budget room

Update:

Got rid of a desk, replaced it with a proper stand :-)

additions: Logitech G25 (best wheel in the world!) and Logitech harmony one :-)

Big improvement? Cable trunk isn't ideal but cant really see an easy alternative.

Cheers,
mush

Re: mushk1n's budget room

It moved to the top of my HD DVD player at one point whilst I played COD4 or watched tv. I moved it to another room after that cos I don't really require it any more due to me working away from home 99% of the time.

cheers,

mush.

Re: mushk1n's budget room

Well done! yes its an external media server from freecom!

What an awesome game that was... although it didn't last that long! maybe I should call EA games and sell my idea to them... do you reckon they would buy it? I will say £1,000,000 first then will drop to 50p if they haggle hard...

Re: mushk1n's budget room

Thanks mate, zig-zag shelves were a local purchase although have now been taken down as I had far too many games to put up.

Recently taken grillz off my KEF speakers so look much better now, will take pics soon!
