Prize78's humble setup

Ok, well i've finally plucked up the courage to put a few pictures of my setup on here. Not as glamorous as some, or indeed, most of the setups on here, but i'm very pleased with it. What do you all think? Comments are very welcome.
(Kit list in sig.)

(Oh, and, I know the centre doesn't match, but a Monitor Audio centre is on the shopping list, just as soon as funds will allow )

Re: Prize78's humble setup

I knew it wouldn't be too long before you wanted to showcase your kit Nick!!

Looks good to me! And I'm sure you'll get around to finding a RS-LCR soon for the price you feel happy to pay!

The gloss back RS5s match you set up brilliantly!

Keep the updates coming!

I know what you mean mate, the black cabinets, with the white drivers and silver surrounds, i think, look very classy indeed. .....That said though Fletch, you have got the Rs6's and i've got the Rs5's

New pics added of the new centre....and yes, i'm very aware that it's silver and not black....but there's so few of them about, (zero blacks anywhere, it would seem), that i thought at least it's a match, sonically. But to be honest, because the sound is so good, it really doesn't bother me that the colours don't match.

Shame you couldn't get hold of a black one mate, have you thought about contacting MA and asking if they can send you a black grill, if you start to get a little bit twitchy about the colour and can't find on in black?

Liking it though mate.

Funnily enough mate, i had not thought of asking them...I've just emailed them, so you never know eh?
The sound out of it though mate, as i'm sure you're more than aware, is phenomenol. A marked improvement on my tannoy, which, is tiny by comparison.

Yeah, they wanted £48 for the black grille, so i stuck with the silver one for obvious reasons!

Cant you just DIY yourself a black grill?

Is it metal or fabric mesh?

Fabric mesh with plastic frame.....i'm not bothered about the colour now to be honest. In a weird way, i'm not sure i don't actually prefer it......it breaks up the solid black.
