Exclamation Iraninian Setup

Hi guys .My name is reza .I'm from Iran (Mashad city) and totaly new to this great forum. Here in Mashad you can barely find AV components, most are all-in-one compact solutions. So I do not think my setup looks good but I just realized that it might be interesting to you to see what is going on in another corner of the (3rd) world. I appreciate any comments ?

Re: My Small Appartment setup

Sweet setup, looks very good. Did you do the work yourself? Never seen a white PS3 before, that's a little bit odd looking.

Yes, it is all done by me and my wife.I purchased the white ps3(40GB) in malaysia two years ago and I believe the color is more common on A/P region.

Don't be so modest - your setup and style is fantastic.

Do you have a kit list?

Re: My Small Appartment setup

I believe the idea comes from IKEA!( sorry for my bad English )
It is mounted by a U form bracket .the U shaped bracket is simply screwed to the wall and the two leg of the U (let’s call it shafts) penetrates into two holes in the wall side of the shelf which holds the shelf itself. In this way the whole bracket will be invisible to you. Finally two small pins -in the downside of the shelf- fix the shafts and don’t let them to slip and leave the holes.

Thanks for the explanation. Might do something like that myself as there is no IKEA in my country and all I really need is a quick trip to a hardware store.

Re: My Small Appartment setup

I really like it a lot if I'm honest! looks really modern and stylish, have you painted the TV yourself? I've never seen a white framed samsung before and it's bloody lovely!!!!

I'm swaying more and more to buying a flat these days rather than waiting for a house, hmm!

Re: My Small Appartment setup

Thanks guys for your comments.

@SparksCW
No there are several Samsung LCD which come in white.Mine is 3 series, but you can go for a newer version such as SAMSUNG LE32B541

@Ralphy1981
In my city between 1-2 k $ per sqm

@Movieman21
As I notes before this is an original ps3, released for the Asia Pacific region.As yo asked for the AC I have to say we have various solution but mine is simple water based cooler and an independant central heater package.

Re: My Small Appartment setup

I update the photoes , also include the flat layout. As you can see I wish I had an option to place the RR speaker in a more proper place,though it has corrected by AVR speaker delay fine tuning.

Re: My Small Apartment setup

Thanks for the extra photos Vage. Certainly is a nice appartment you live in.
You should host your photos to Imageshack or Photobucket so we can have bigger photos to look at.

I bet your wife is not happy she's in the last photo!

Re: My Small Appartment setup

That's a superb flat and looks very professional. The front speakers especially look very cool - have you had a chance to crank them up and what do your neighbours think!!

Re: My Small Appartment setup

Thanks.The front speakers are old original Jamo , I found it in stock market for less than 100 GBP.They have a very natural sound and are in mint condition.
I'm a rock music freak and I enjoy shaking the flat.( hopefully the next flat is still empty.)

I got the Idea from the "Steel Land" catalog and then order it to a carpenter.

Re: My Small Appartment setup

Beautiful flat you have there, love the dark wood floors and fittings. The white looks very cool too, never seen a white PS3 before though, very unusual !!, you seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to equip your setup and it looks great.

In the last photo though you seem to have a captured a ghost on film ..

Thanks m8,
It was a real fun for me and my wife(My lovely ghost) to setup a small living room.we were lucky to receive the home in the middle of the construction process and had enough time to search for the items.
