Lucky you going to a cedia show, i'd love to go to one of those! I may have to have a google search for the little THX fella, he's just too cool!

I noticed you upgraded to the Onkyo pro. How are you getting on with it? I only ask as i'd like to upgrade my Rotel 1098 and the Onkyo is looking very tempting. I have a Rotel 1075 power amp which i'm particulary fond off and therfore will not be parting with it!

thanks dean thats a nice thing to say ..

mcmclane
i think the onkyo would work great with the rotel 1075 . i found rotel to be a very smooth sound i think if you paired it with the ONKYO you well get great results .
the accurate and sharp sound of the onkyo will pair well with the rotel and give you a detailed and realistic sound for , films/music ,you would notice a significant upgrade in the quality and accurate film representation.just what the DIRECTOR ordered

Thanks very much for your feedback. I'm doing a lot of research on the Onkyo and it's really growing on me I agree with you that it would partner the 1075 very well as I really don't want to change the power amp and to be honest i'm really only saving up for a new processor as i'd like the newest decoding! I think a demo will need to be arranged soon

Also thanks so much for the link to the little THX fella, I may just have to treat myself!

This is why people should not always hide their kit away. I love the huge chunky stand, the huge speakers and the full size seperates. Looks cracking.
