HD Enclosure - Do I need the software?

I just received delivery of an Icy Box HD Enclosure (Mod no. IB-351StU). It came with a driver CD and on the CD label it states "Mac Driver inside".

It has been recognised and seems to work perfectly on the iMac (2.66 dual core). Do I need to load the drivers or is that more for Windows users?

Re: HD Enclosure - Do I need the software?

Well I've never had to install any drivers for external drives, I suspect it's for OS9 and earlier.
