2012 logo cost £400,000 - someone's taking the p**s here surely?

I just saw on SSN that the logo for the 2012 games cost the organisers £400K

I could not believe how tacky the film looked.

The logo itself looks like something a child would draw if asked to do it for Art class. And all those flashing colours in the film reminded me of something from 'Take Hart' in the 70s.

Money well spent?

Oops - apologies for starting another thread on the subject, but I checked in SPORT where I'd thought it would be and seen nothing.

Its still ugly though!!
