I just got this game for free when I bought the new PS3 system, and I'm loving it already. Problem is my ex comes by once a week to do his laundry and wants to play the game, but we can't figure out how to create his own character, so he uses mine.

Can someone tell me (in plain English please) how we can create his character while still being able to access mine.

You'll need to create a new user on the PS3.
While not in any game, go to the very left of the PS3 menu and choose "Create New User". That will be his user
Then whenever he's playing the game he can use that account instead of yours, and it will have his own personal settings etc.
