Just got LBP for my 5 year old son

Hello,

My son likes to have a go on my PS3 every now and again so I thought I would get him LBP to see if he liked it.

I don't think he will be able to create a level just yet so just wondering what else should he be doing to get the most out of the game.

Is it just a case of serching for levels and playing them or is their more to it?

My 6yr old lad spends hours searching for levels and playing them. He also loves to change sackboys appearance every 10 mins it seems as each time I walk past it looks different.

I make him choose 'play on my own' unless I join in otherwise he could get me a bad reputaion as someone that hogs score bubbles and doesn't wait for other players that are trying to keep up!

Just got it for my 5 year old, im gonna get the camera and put her picture in the levels along with the dog, and other things she likes.

Maybe the camera is a prespective purchase for you and your son.

I played a couple of your levels last night. Could do the sling shot one though, tried about 20 times and kept getting my backside burnt!

Was that the one with several trebuchets one after the other? It's possible you just have to let go at the right point.

I recently made a new version with an attempt at a score board, so you fire and try to land in a zone which awards points from 10 to 100. Didn't work exactly as planned but got bored trying to tweak it!

If you are looking for a children friendly level? Please try my level Kid's Easy Fun - Beginner, PSN_ID: NickLaslett.

I created the level for my two children (7 & 5). It should be fun to play and easy to complete.
