To start off... what a cracking game! but I have one question in relation to the above...

Through playing online with other players at the end of a level the scores are calculated and a winner is generated. If you win are you awarded anything or is it simply for the fun of things? (I am aware of the overall rankings which are displayed based on your performance on the level but then you also get a overall ranking when you complete a single player level) so is the only variation of playing with others the fun and competition? in other words in term of scores/rankings do you gain from playing online or is tehre a seperate system that keeps track of how well you perform online?

I think it's more based on the level rather than the amount of people you play with.

Some levels will give you nothing for completing them, some will. Playing online doesn't change anything.

Some levels do have parts where you need 2 or more players to complete a special section, so in that case I suppose you could say online play does offer more rewards.

I think that's pretty much ho0w it works, if that answers your question.

If you like trophies you need to win a 4 player on-line to get a bronze I think? but apart from that I think it's just for the fun of it. When you get used to slapping other players (by waving your arms around) it can get quite funny. Or you can grab onto them and drag them around! Watch out for the pod wreckers! I got happy slapped recently by a couple of mates who wrecked my pod!
