LBP - motion blur?

Just played through first few levels. When running the background seems to blur quite a bit which is making me squint. Is this how the game is for everyone? if not I'm wondering whether my tv isn't very good at panning. From what I can tell the background is blurrier than the foreground anyway even when stationary

Can't say I've noticed any blurring. What TV do you have, LCD or Plasma? I have LCD.

Haven't noticed either. Running a 42 LCD via HDMI

Thanks for your replies, managed to sort it. Read through telly manual and have now set it to a different drive mode and that's done the trick

How did you fix the blurring issue? I have a Hitachi 42PD7200 42" Plasma and I'm noticing lots of background blur. If you keep your eyes focused on Sack Boy it's not too bad but focus so you're looking at the whole screen and it hurys my eyes.
