This is why it was delayed, morons like this even go out and buy the game and then have the nerve to complain.
They always want the best of both worlds and make their laws/rules up to suit themselves.
Funny thing is that a Blu-Ray is stronger than this dude, Long live LBP and down with,,, well you know who!
"Blu-Ray dosent negosiate with terrorists"
Just skip to about 3.50 the rest is boring, pathetic narrow minded hatred

Its absolutely pathetic. LOL at him being unable to snap the Blu Ray disc. Classic.
That white controller is NICE though.
Ive just cancelled my sendit pre-order and went to Amazon who are still quoting me end of this week, WHEN, it changes, I'll cancel that and go back over to somewhere cheaper. Just living in hope.
I dont wanna say it on here cos its against board policies but I cant stand........some people.
I've just been listening to that song on Youtube - quite a nice tune actually, it's a shame that there's all this fuss about it. I think I would have liked to have listened to that a lot more.
I'm still having problems understanding what the issue is here... If the song contains offensive lyrics then how come it was originally published (and won awards) back in 2006 without any controversy? Also, how come Youtube are allowing people to listen to it if it's such a problem?
If it's just that the song has been used in a videogame then I thought that the fact it's LBP would actually be a positive thing.
Hey ho, every time I think this world can't get any more crazy... it always does...
There's one key thing I don't "get" so if one of our fellow AVFers (who's muslim) can excuse my ignorance and educate me, then please do.
The song in question, the song that contains lines from the Koran, wasn't it written and performed by a muslim dude? So why did he not know or realise it's offensive?
That's what I don't get. It's a song that's a couple of years old, was written and performed by a muslim yet only now, are muslims saying it's offensive. Why didn't the performer know this?
Or do different flavours of Islam, have different rules?
I just don't understand it.

Do as i say but dont do as i do. The problem is that is not the entire muslim world that is complaining, it's just an extremist minority.
The guy in that video above seems to be a psycopath. I mean who in the right state of mind buys a game and just destroys it simply because of a fragment of a song that it contains? That nutter needs locking up.
Yes, certainly seems to be 31st. I certainly trust a mailshot more than some random pre-order site's wild guess that's for sure. Thread title should be changed.

He didn't really break the game.
And also, I don't think it's an "extremist" who pointed out the song. Although I see no problem with the song, I wouldn't call someone who did an "extremist" as that's a very strong word. I know moderate muslims who would have a problem with the use of the song.
With regard to the song, yes in a sense it is the artist who should have not published the song, but he felt he was right to do so, so whatever good for him. I personally don't think anyone is totally at fault. I hope it does get released on the 31st, if not oh well, I'll wait till the 14 of Nov.
