And TBF, thats probably true of the staff posting. They dont HAVE to post and its to their credit that the did/do. Dont know of any other game retalier that has a forum where the staff are prepared to keep the public up-to-date with stock issues etc.

Shame though, thought they'd ship today.

Anyone else who pre-ordered from lovefilm got any updates on their order?

I got this in an email on the 30th

But looking @ my order on lovefilm its still "awaiting stock pick", so it seems as if they infact wont get it to us by the 5th. Unless they post tomorrow with next day del, which i cant see them doing.

I ordered from Gameplay at around 10am this morning. The item was shipped at 3.06pm today

How quick is that!

1st class registered post will be with me in the morning according to the expected delivery date.

£40.98 it cost me, so a few £ less than some high street stores and a few £ more than the likes of littlewood's and other sites but customer service has been exceptional and if it delivers as fast as it claims then I have no complaints over a £ tenner.

But again, it all depends on how much you want it. Some people will be happy to wait until the beggining/mid next week to save £10, I feel i've waited long enough

They physically couldnt ship today as they havent received the stock.

Trust me on that, I have been there twice today.

I did pick up Motorstorm Pacific Rift on my 2nd visit, that should tide me over until I pick up LBP tomorrow.

Because it has a song that was removed? A song that the majority of gamers probably wouldn't notice if it was removed or not? As soon as you go online with it you'll be forced to download the patch removing that song. In years to come I bet the majority would also have to use Google to find the name of the song. Makes no logical sense. Anyhoo I just think some people need a bit of perspective.

Bloody hell, I'm really disappointed in Shopto. They used to be the fastest out there and now Game, Gameplay and Play have all shipped theirs

Shopto stock will arrive with them tomorrow.

Did anywhere else ship Motorstorm 2 ? Shopto have and I picked up mine personally, so its swings and roundabouts sometimes, whether etailer x,y or z will get various titles first.

Shall we compare notes again later in the week for Gears 2 ?.

Ordered this from Zavvi towards the end of September.. received Backorder Item Notification e-mail from them today saying its out of stock at their warehouse and they will ship it to me when it becomes available

You think we will get GOW2 before Thursday? Game will have GOW2 to everybody by Thursday, so what's there to compare.

Well, that depends, I know I will have mine by Wednesday, but cant speak for all the etailers out there as I dont know when they will receive and then ship their stock.
