20 stories like the '1' that was in the beta - which was actually 3 levels plus a mini game level. So more like 50-60 proper levels, some of which will be mini levels, others will be proper levels.

that's what i thought initially, but according to message boards and reviews it's not 20 'worlds' with 3 stages each like in the beta, but 20 levels in total.and apparantly 30 minigames

Re: LittleBigPlanet Beta/Demo - Play & Help Thread

2 add my 2p worth to this thread.

I didn't really know much about LBP until 2 weeks ago. I managed to get a key from a user of AVF and have played it none stop since.

As I can only afford one or the other before X-Mas i've cancelled my pre-order of COD:World at War and will buy LBP instead (those who know me know I wouldn't do this lightly), it's one of the most addictive games i've ever played and I loved the fact no 2 levels were the same.

During my spell on the Beta I met some really good people who showed me their maps, damn their talented!

Chris.

I don't think this will be the case in the full game. In the Beta people didn't know until a couple of days before it ended that the levels would be carried over to the full game so I expect not many people would have spent the time and effort to creat a decent level which would be deleted in a few days.

Once the full game is out, we will start seeing some truely excellent levels, and I'm sure there will be dozens if not hundreds of levels that will put the developers ones to shame in just a couple of months time.

Also remember that the Beta had limited materials available, so levels will get even prettier, and the full game will have a vastly improved rating system so the levels you are calling 'junk' will be filtered out and you'll never need to waste your time playing them.

IMO, I must have played 50 -100 user created levels and personally I enjoyed 90% of them, especially when playing with friends.
