How to get sound from my Xbox > 42LG5010 > 5.1 System

Hi,

My Xbox is connected to my Tv via HDMI, and my 5.1 system is connected to my TV via Scart. I am wondering how to get sound from my xbox to come out of my 5.1 system. It will gladly play TV sound out of the 5.1 system, but for some reason my xbox wont, although it used to work on my TV. Any ideas?

If you have optical in available on your 5.1 you need the xbox optical dongle, which plugs in the AV port , if your connected via hdmi.
It's also on the AV cable that has the component connectors on it if you have that cable available, although I dont know if you can connect with hdmi and have that cable in at same time or not.
