I have an LG Renoir on an Orange pay monthly plan and would like to go on the Internet using wifi and my home broadband box. I managed to connect to my box and went on the net but after checking my account found I was being charged by Orange for data. Are there other settings I need to change like profile and browser settings. I am a novice at this.

How are you connecting through your phone?

If you press the top of the screen, the drop down 'Status Summary' is viewable.

Press the middle icon on the bottom of the touchscreen, this should then let you search for available wireless networks.

When you connect to the internet, the phone should ask you WiFi or Orange. Choose WiFi.

Let me know it still doesn't work.
