LG KM900 Arena and Mac Itunes

Can someone - anyone please help me? I have had this phone for a couple of months now and I cannot get my Itunes to download onto my phone. I have installed the disc onto the mac and it can see the phone as I have updated my calender etc but it doesn't see the phone when I go onto Itunes.
Please help as one of the reasons I got this phone was to listen to music
