hi,

i purchased the Viewty Lite for my girlfriend last week, and she's very happy with it since it is a great device.

the only issue is about the video recording format: I've read dozens of reviews reporting that this phone is able to record in AVI (DiVx 5.0) format, but the one I got records in 3GP only. SW version is KU990_V10b.

Is this a fimware issue?

hi,

i figured out what was going on.

i didn't notice that the video recording resolution was set to QVGA, changing to VGA let the phone record in AVI format.

hope this can help someone else!
