Maybe a dumb question but on the screen is 1 2 3. What do they do?

Now I have the same problem. This definitely wasn't the case when I first switched it on. At the bottom of the screen, was a scrollable list of icons which you could drag off onto the screen. Now like you, i have these 3 icons. There is nothing in the manual on how you get them, or get rid of them. I have managed to get rid of them somehow, but got them back again, again without knowing how I've done it. Help needed for me as well!

I figured it out. If you swipe across the screen it changes the "mode"

I live in Spain, retired there from the UK.
I bought a GT505 in Spain which came with a Spanish manual.
I'm after an English manual.
If I go to the LG site to download a manual it asks for the EMI number of my phone and knows it was bought in Spain and only gives me the option of downloading a Spanish manual.
I've Googled for a manual but no luck.
Any help in getting a manual will be greatly appreciated.

I've attempted 4 times to set up email on this phone(I'm on orange but my email account is blueyonder) I can send email but not receive it on my handset. I don't even have an inbox! Orange are also at a loss also! HELP

I have the English manual in pdf format. Its 3.3MB (or 1.45MB when zipped).
I can e-mail it to you if you like - send me a PM with your e-mail address.
Its for the Orange branded handset but it should be ok.

I live in Greece. I bought here a GT505 which came with a GRE/ENG manual.
I had a look in LG sites to download an ITALIAN manual but they only gives me the option of downloading (again!) a GREEK/ENGLISH manual.
I've searched other solution but no way.
Any help in getting ITALIAN.pdf manual will be really appreciated.
