Hi all

My partner has a LG Renoir phone and for no reason his battery charger connector ( the same connector the headphones go into) does not recognise anything put inot it!

He has not damaged this phone in anyway, or put it near water.

He sent it off to Carphone Warehouse for repair as it is under warranty, but after 14 days, he has it back today, labelled Beyond repaid - physical damage.

He was given a piece of paper showing the motherboard (we think!!!- even the Carphone Warehouse employee had no idea of what the picture was of - theres no hope for us then!!) and was told it was because he had dameged the phone - which of course we know he didnt!

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, was it resolved? We have written a letter to the complaints department but don't hold out much hope!
