I am so glad I googled looking for an English LG KC780 User Guide and found you wonderful people discussing phones in this forum! My husband bought it as a retail import last week when he switch his cellphone contract but the box/user manual is entirely in French! I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone with the English KC780 User Manual PDF file and would consider emailing me it just to help someone out. It would be really helpful to learn how to use the phone properly. I am based in California and have a gmail email account that you can contact me at. It is tranttina@gmail.com. You can find this manual on the LG.COM site.
It is tricky to find however there maybe a quicker way but this is how I got to it.

Go to LG Electronics UK

Select Mobile Phones then enter KC780 in search box.
You will get 1 item found so select this
Now you should be at this http
KC780 Mobile Phones Mobile Phones

Click support and then on the right side of the page drivers and software.

You then need to follow the instructions to download their front end software that lets you download the manual and also upgrade the firmware. I have tried it and it says my phone has the latest firmware.
