Question LG Shine problem?

OK I dont know if this is the right forum or anything for this. It's like the first time i enter this site but I saw there was an active forum about LG stuff so I hope some of you could help me or maybe have even experienced the same problem.

This morning my sister went of to Spain but right before she left suddenly her LG shine went buzzing. Since she had her phone in her suitcase she didnt reach it before it stopped and she didn't knew what it was. The strange thing however was that her phone was off so it shouldnt be able to buzz.
Now just 15 minutes ago (2 august 23:45 +1 GMT) my phone also buzzed and I also have an LG Shine. It scared the ...... **** out of me because I was watching a movie on my computer and suddenly it starts buzzing. The reason why this is so weird is because i haven't even used that phone for like 6 months because of a broken screen. But because of that broken screen i couldnt see what the problem was. I could only see that i could press the button STOP. well I did that and then I removed the battery cause imo it's really scaring if a phone that's off suddenly starts buzzing. Especially because my sisters phone did the same thing this morning.

I would like to know if anyone of you know what has happened or suspects what has happened. Also please reply if you have experienced the same thing.

Thanks already.

Re: LG Shine problem?

without stating the obvious but the alarm will still be active even if the phone is off, could it be that!?.... I think the phones also vibrate when they are plugged into a charger so perhaps its that area of the phone that is faulty?......

Re: LG Shine problem?

well I wouldnt know why it would be alarm . I mean, my sister and my phone both did the same thing at the same day but there would be no reason why we both would set an alarm at this date because there is nothing to do at that date :S

my mom came with the best solution today: our house is haunted ^^.

atleast thanks for trying to help.
