LG GD900 - Crystal

Have just received this phone and am very impressed with it, but I seem to be having problems finding an additional genuine lg battery, I dont want a 3rd party knock off one, and would also want a desktop charger as well so that I can have a fully charged battery so that I dont ever run out of power.

Anyone know good places to go for a genuine battery, or any other accessories for this phone? Its hard to find anything as its so new, I only have mine today because I ordered over the phone on Carphonewarehouse (seem to have exclusive first rights to the phone)

BUMP!

Anyone at all? Is there any dedicated forums for this handset, as it seems to be hard to find a large forum of members

Tried contacting LG directly?

As for the desktop charger i would ring LG but i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do one.

Have you tried Ebay? There is usually some one dealing in peripherals like that! Otherwise go back to Carphone Warehouse!

Had the phone for about 6 weeks now. Its not bad at all. Fun to play with, nice camera though a bit jitterey. The phone has turned itself off a few times and re started, but nothing majorly wrong. One of the only downsides is you can only have a set amount of "favourites" for your phone book and music player. So when using teh cube function to get to music or contacts quickly, you are limited to how many.

Ive put a mem card in mine and the storage is more than adequate. Great for watching movies, though the sound lags behind my display when watchng movies, but I guess thats to do with the format rather than the phone.

All in all I would reccomend it. Call sound quality is great and the touch screen is very responsive.

Hi,

my wife has got a new LG GD900 Crystal.
However, everytime she goes into the SMS screen, it comes up with the message, USIM text messages is full, delete text messages.
Also, I have successfully imported her contacts from ger old phone into the LG GD900 using the PC Suite. However when she goes into the contacts screen on the GD900, it only shows her contacts that are stored on the SIM card.
How do I switch the phone from looking at the SIM to point to eh Handset?
I have looked through the manual, but nothing.

Thanks for ANY assistance - from both of us.
