LG Complaint

Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone can help, I'm having some trouble getting hold of anyone significant at LG, Does anyone have an email address for their complaints team or for a CEO maybe?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Rob.

It might help if you give some background information as to why you need to contact a CEO? What problems did you have (or are still having) and why have they upset you so much?

Hi,
the short version!!
I'm after a repair for my viewty I was originally told that my phone was under warranty and would be covered, now they have back tracked saying I was mis-informed?!?
I have sent numerous emails and made too many phone calls to count - but they seem to think that the fact that they have lied doesn't count.

If i had originally been told i wasn't covered i wouldn't have minded but now i'm annoyed plus I had to keep submitting my info on different websites because the first one I did that online form doesnt work for them and then the second one didnt list my phone model

It's been a nightmare from beginning to end just sick of it now I want to rant to someone who has the power to do wahat I was originally told they would do,

Re: LG Complaint

Having had a similar experience contacting so called customer support,in writing and all, it turned out that LG UK (mobiles) had outsourced their support services, warranty, tech help etc, to some independent org with an 0870 number. Check LG web site for the name & number of this org.

I was claiming a warranty repair and it took 20+ minutes to finally get an authorization return number. The call time included music while you wait, pep talks, advertising, press any button from 1-6 about 3 or 4 times... jeez!

When the time comes for a replacement...... never again LG.

Good luck.

Re: LG Complaint

Well, customer service is what brings people back.

The lack of support, will definitely drive people away, as per these examples above.

It would be nice to hear of some positive customer service experiences too !

Re: LG Complaint

Funny, I took out a contract last week on an LG phone in an Orange shop and someone was having a rant about support. I wasn't listening 100%, but I definitely heard the words that Orange don't do the support on phones, 'someone else' does it.

Re: LG Complaint

I have an LG Shine which just one day started shutting down and powering off for no reason.

I sent the phone, through their complaints procedure on 14th August 2009, i was told 7-10 days and it would be repaired and back with me.

Once one calendar month had passed i then started to pester the customer services, i was told the phone had a technical issue and needed upto date drivers loading on it and they did not have them. I asked when i should expect the phone back and was told they did not have a clue. I did ask for a replacement but was told that was not possible. At this point i must point out the phone is still less than 10 mths old.

On the 19th September following numerous phone calls and getting nowhere, the phone suddenly arrived back at home with , no repair had been made and a sticker on the front said not repaired investigate poss unauthorised simlock. I bought the phone new and had not had to unlock it as it was simfree. There was no covering letter or any expaination.

I submitted a letter that day (19th Sept) asking for an exlaination within a week and to date heard nothing..... what do i do next??

Re: LG Complaint

What to do?

!st . If you can, pop in to your local Citizens Advice Bureau. Ask for info about the Sale of Goods Act ( year? - sorry).

2nd Google Sale of Goods Act.

Check for the pars. relating to Goods fit for Purpose/Use etc. Check your warranty validity times.

If it all fits, send LG _and_ the Retailer, in their joint & several capacities, a warning letter that you will take court action unless they "do the right thing" say 10 days later.
If no response then invest a little money in Court fees and lodge one claim in your County Court against LG and the Retailer.

One way or the other you'll see animated action from the enemy, methinks chop chop.
I speak from experience. So go for it.
