Lg KM900 Arena Fault

Hey guys just a quick question...bought a new km900 Arena from optus yesterday played with it a bit and set up all the settings then went 2 make a call and as soon as the other phone started ringing the screen goes blank so i cant hang up the phone...then when i recieve calls the phone goes blank again so i cant c who is calling or answer the phone i press all different buttons but nothing happens...so frustrating any suggestions??????

do u still have the plastic cover on the phoen
if im correct there is a sensor to the left of that - make sure the sensor is not blocked.
this detects if u have your face to the phone and turns the screen off (i.e locking the phone so u dont accidentaly press any keys)

if you have this blocked then it will keep the screen blank.
