Samsung le32a436
hi i'm new here
have seen the samsung le32a436 on play.com which seems a very good price ,i'm tempted to buy but just wonder wat people's thought are on this telly
it's for my bedroom and will mainly be watching dvds and have sky plus i'm also wondering if was to buy a blu-ray player would i be better off with a full hd-tv (as this is only 720) or would blu-ray dvds look just as good on this as a full hd-tv
thanks

Re: Samsung le32a436
Ive got that exact same TV, had it a while now its great for a 32" as I use it for my room ( box room) so its ideal.
I use it to watch HD-DVD's and Blu-Rays also to play my ps3 and 360, it does the job perfect I was amazed by the blu-ray quality.
Alot of people have said you wont notice the difference on a 32" so no point in getting 1080p

Nothing, why should there be? Just one of the reasons why JL are a very good retailer

Re: Samsung le32a436
Well if you are weary about a five year warranty then get the TV from Play and get a 1 year version.
People go out of there way to try and get a John Lewis 5 year one.
Why would there be a catch.

Re: Samsung le32a436
Check the Samsung site. Personally I would doubt it if you click on the 456 the 457 comes up on the site anyway LE37A456 LCD - television SAMSUNG
No doubt the 457 is the "NEWER" version.

Re: Samsung le32a436
At £349 I would go with the Samsung and the 5 years you would be very hard pressed to find anything that comes in close to that.
And to add I would do it before the 457 set disappears or goes up in price, general feeling is TV's will go up soon as the £ keeps dipping against all other currencies..

Re: Samsung le32a436
I would stick with either a Sony or Panasonic Blu-Ray player as the Samsung ones seem to have issues if you search around this site.
Very popular is the Sony BD350 which can be found for £155 on the web and even Asda are selling the for £175.
