32 inch plus dvd recorder

I am hoping to buy a 32 inch for freeview, dvds, & viewing my photos. I don't have Sky or any games, so that's not a requirement. Basically I'm looking for a good picture & decent sound. At the same time I will probably buy a dvd player/recorder which I would want to upscale my old dvds to HD. Any suggestions?

Look at the Sony 32V4000 TV and this DVD recorder from Sony Sony RDRGX350B DVD Recorder: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo
