Dusty edge to screen after removing protective film

Hi, Samsung 686, ever since I've taken off that slinky protective film from around the edge of the TV it has left a very light dust that is very static resistent, so when I try and clean it it clings to the bloody TV!

Anyone seen this and a remedy to get it off?
