Unhappy Lg 42 lg 3000

HI All
I ned your help big time, two days ago I bought LG 42 LG 3000 TV from Dixons. I connected this TV to my laptop using a VGA cable. Here is where the problem lies, screen was picked immediatetly but RED colour is not displayed at all. Th bits in red have been replaced by black colour. I have tried changing settings under Expert olour management to no good avail.
I hope someone could help me o have the PC working properly.

I have been hoping that some one would be able to help. Meanwhile I have been able to change the laptop but to no avail.

Hi

Sounds like a broken Pin in the VGA, we get this quite a lot. if a Pin gets damaged whichever colour it controls, it will just not display it on the screen/projector.
